Speaker’s Biography

Bryan Rudd, Senior Equity Analyst, has been involved in the financial markets since 2000, when he started his career at Reuters SA (now Thomson Reuters). This early introduction into Africa was the start of Bryan’s passion for the continent. Mr. Rudd has worked for international, African and South African companies during his 11 years’ in the markets. Bryan has been a West African specialist in investment research and portfolio management and most recently managed a highly ranked global equity fund.

Mr. Rudd has a B.Com in Economics, B.Com (honours) Investment Management, and Certificate in Financial Management and a Diploma in Unit Trusts. Bryan has also completed his South African financial industry exams. Bryan is currently a level 1 candidate in the Charted Financial Analyst program.

Mr. Rudd is a member of the Investment Analysts Society of South Africa and the South African Institute of Financial Markets.
