For the Western world and not only, 2015 will be a year of crossroads about whether the murderous Islamic State will succeed or not its objectives.

The confrontation between the West and Islamism will be one of the most crucial points in 2015. As modern observers argue, large dimensions will be given over this dispute and it seems that blind terrorism would dominate in countries with numerous Islamic followers.

Many analysts note that this dispute will widen, as blind terrorism will be constantly gaining ground in the countries where there are many Islamists.

In Europe, the level of threat is significantly high, mainly in France, United Kingdom, Belgium and the Netherlands, which host approximately 19 million Muslims.

According to Juncker Totenhofer, a German reporter who recently managed to get into the Islamic State in Iraq, in these countries there are determined Islamists, who after a strong “brainwashing”, they are ready to launch blind and bloody attacks and provoke terror.

“What’s worth mentioning is the absolute desire of new Western-comers Islamic Mercenaries to kill. The absolute desire of the newcomers [in the Islamic State] Western mercenaries to kill, is really impressive.

People like them consider religious genocide as the highest goal of their life and they are determined to do everything to complete their mission.

Al-Qaida looks totally safe compared to the Islamic atrocity and fanaticism, who only wish to revive the Caliphate. Unfortunately, the West seems too weak to face this phenomenon”.

It is a phenomenon that cannot be combated with the usual military methods because of its various and multidimensional aspects, adds Jürgen Totenhofer.

It’s also worth mentioning that behind Islamists, who dream of Caliphate, there is a tough murderous organization managing enormous amounts of capitals and currently is totally dominating in the global economic crime.

From slave trade to drugs, the Islamic State controls quite significant oil stocks in Mosul in Iraq.

Furthermore, Islamists recruit and offer high payments to Mercenaries in the West, focusing on the unemployed Muslims as they are an easier target.

It is estimated that more than 3,000 youngsters coming from France, Belgium and the United Kingdom have entered the ‘informal’ Islamic army and they are considered to be the most fanatic jihadists.

Jürgen Totenhofer, in his interview on Canal 24, pointed out that almost 50 young people on a daily basis move from the West to the Islamic State for “training” and, through them, they call more and more new members to undertake the so called “holly mission”.

“This is an unprecedented phenomenon” said the German reporter adding that he met a German law school graduate fleeing his country in order to join jihadists.

On the other hand, French reporter Guillaume Faye, who recently wrote a book about Jose Arafat’s mysterious death, underlines that the recruitment of young jihadists in France is facilitated by Imams’ sermons in mosques, which are constantly becoming places of religious propaganda.

According to G. Faye, another crucial issue is the suburbs of French big cities (banlieux), where Muslims live and have developed the Islamic mafia.

Except of the illegal trade, they discourage youngsters of going to school so as to more easily open the door for their recruitment, leading them to unlawful acts and jihadists’ groups.

“These gangs are so powerful and their main goal is to keep the teens uneducated and unemployed. In this way they can be totally engaged by Mafiosi who are closely associated with jihadists coming from Syria and Iraq”.

Bauer Koch, reporter in France-24, adds that his contact with jihadists in Syria confirmed the above mentioned, as Islamists indeed desire to create a state-owned entity in Middle East.

In this context, their main goal is not the Western attack but the annihilation of Muslim Democrats.

Taking this into account, we realize why the jihadists seized the opportunity and took advantage of the Arab Spring, by getting organized and finally dominating in the opposition-against Assad regime-in Syria and assassinating its most experienced and skillful executives.

In addition, many international terrorism experts like the Professor Jean-Charles Brisard argue that jihadists have an excellent knowledge on social media networking.

As a result, the West should also find convincing ways to face up the Islamist propaganda-which knows quite well to hide its loathsome face.

The French Professor recently said that such an initiative requires attention and large efforts in order for youngsters to be well-informed about what jihadism is and of course keep in mind that they are also potential victims.

Last but not least, young people should also realize that once they join jihadists, the only exit chance from them is death.

Combating the financial crime is going to be an urgent need for Western countries because it is the main fundamental source of international terrorism.

However, nowadays, Europe is not enough concerned on a collective level about the exodus of young Europeans (foreign fighters) to Syria and Iraq although it is a serious problem.

The same goes for the Islamic terrorism in the Central Africa and Nigeria where the Boko Haram organization seems to gain more ground and control of important wealth-producing sources.

Noted that Boko Haram controls a geographical area alike France in Europe! Finally, it is obvious that 2015 would be a crucial year for West’s reaction on extremist Islamism- a complex of Mafia and religion which is different from common political contexts and thus too risky.

Consequently, it needs to ring the bell against Islamism’s corrosive and violent nature in order to prevent each painful consequence it only reserves.

The non-reaction will only bring about worse effects.
